Flesh is a part of our nature, an object of pride and shame, joy and pain, lust and disgust, death and geniture. Flesh is an expression of physicality, and there can be no instruments of noesis of the World without physicality. The flesh leads us to creation and destruction, and it’s due to artists that flesh from the physiological phenomenon becomes an aesthetic category, viewed from different angles and with different photo optics by the artists whose works have been collected by Karas Gallery over the last 20 years.
This project combines reflections by artists from various generations, communities and preferences who have worked with this theme.
